In June 2006, chosen by NIKON as 1 of 16 photographers to participate in a national and worldwide NIKON digital print & ad campaign for the promotion of their new camera the D80. Kristen’s photographs and self-portrait appeared in Nikon ads that featured in such magazines as Newsweek, NY Magazine, Time, National Geographic, etc.

Kristen most recently has served as a staff Writer for Nickelodeon's On-Air department for Nick Jr. - Nickelodeon's preschool division.
Prior to Nickelodeon Kristen worked on a freelance basis with NBC Universal/Oxygen Media, Lifetime Movie Network, WE: Women's Entertainment, AMC, Current TV and USA Network.
Prior to that, Kristen served as an on-air staff Writer/Producer for Oxygen Media/NBC Universal assigned to The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, The Bad Girls Club, Tori & Dean Inn Love, Captured, Oxygen Mentor's Walk and Monique’s Fat Chance.
Previously, Kristen was an Associate Producer for Special Projects On-Air for Rainbow Media working on projects for AMC, IFC, WE: Women’s Entertainment, VOOM and FUSE.
In addition, Kristen worked as a Junior Publicist at The Kreisberg Group, a full-service international marketing and public relations firm representing cultural profit and non-profit clients: Santiago Calatrava, The Children's Museum of Manhattan, The Storm King Art Center and Edith Wharton's Estate. After leaving The Kreisberg Group, Kristen worked in PR as a freelancer and obtained clients such as The Jen Bekman Gallery, artist Will Ryman and Portuguese textile artist Rosa Pomar.
Prior to her work in public relations, Kristen worked for five years at Nickelodeon working in production on such shows as SpongeBob Squarepants, Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, Angry Beavers and Double Dare. While at Nickelodeon Kristen also served as a staff member on the Writing & Development team for pilots.
Kristen lives in Brooklyn with husband Eliot Shepard and daughter Lilian.
